Thanks for the wrist shots and advice. Seeing the pieces outside of a box makes a difference. The functions are not important. I rarely travel outside the East Coast. I am going to call a few more AD's and see if I can find a RG DD to try on. Once I have the new piece, I will be sure to drop incoming photos with a glass of Blanton's and a Cohiba Robusto.

Tough tough call between the DD and Sub. But based on the description of your attire and your current line-up, I'd go for the Sub.

I have both...i wear the sub more since its new...DD looks better in 36mm

I own both : a YG DD40 with silver diagonal motif dial as well as a YG Sub with blued dial/bezel. Both are awsome! I got the DD40 first as that was going to be my one and only PM Rolex. I feel that the DD in YG is iconinc and the quintessential Rolex PM piece. I also contemplated getting a RG DD40 which are beautiful and have beautiful dial combos (olive green!) - however, the YG version is the classic version and gold is supposed to be yellow! So there goes my vote. In the end, they are all great
