Hello! New Rolex owner here. :)
Hello everyone!
Figured I’d make a post here to introduce myself! I just purchased my first Rolex two weeks ago. An Air-King! And on Monday I’ll be picking up a black dial Milgauss.😍 Im really excited to be a part of the Rolex enthusiasts community.😊 I’ll actually (most likely) be posting my Air-King for sale next week. My first choice was the Milgauss, but I could not find one anywhere! I finally found the Air-King and purchased it. As my luck would have it, the AD called me a week and a half later to state they now had the Milgauss and if I wanted it. Lol.🤦🏻*♂️ Of course I said yes, as who knows when I’ll come across another one? I had to snatch up the opportunity. I of course purchased the Air-King brand new from an AD, so I have all the “papers”, box, tags, bezel protector, etc. Anyway - I’m really excited for my Milgauss on Monday, and I’m excited to be a member here! Thanks, guys! Patrick |

Welcome to TRF.
The black dial Milgauss (I have one too) seems to be less-favored than the blue, but I really like the perimeter of the black dial more. It has a mixture of white and orange instead of just orange. For me it makes a big difference. And as Halloween is just 14 days away, the black and orange Milgauss make it a great theme watch.

Welcome to the forum! Double Congrats to you as well. You made two fantastic choices. I'm on my second Milgauss, a Z and miss my AirKing which I wore for a year as a daily then traded for a new Polar at my AD. Still miss that one but the Milgauss takes the pain away. Enjoy those Beauties!!...BTW; You'll have fun comparing the two and will appreciate the differences and see how the extra cost for the Milgauss is justified even though they share the same 3131 movement, the smoothest winding of all Rolex I believe.

Thanks for the very kind welcome, everyone! I really appreciate it!
Yeah, the Z Blue is more popular than the black dial Milgauss, but for some reason the Z Blue just doesn’t do it for me. The color scheme with the black dial is so striking to me. Such an interesting watch! Haha, good point on the Halloween theme! I will absolutely post pics of my pieces together as soon as I get home with the Milgauss on Monday night! Thanks, guys! |
