Scared 2 Ask...AP Royal Oak Chronograph ref. 26300ST

I purchased a Panda dial 39mm Royal Oak chronograph back in September and have been loving it ever since. Recently due to Day Light Savings (Spring Forward, i live in Toronto) i was burdened with the task of reconfiguring a few time pieces. I noticed that every other watch (Rolex, AP) would configure clockwise by winding the crown upwards (away from the owner) but this specific watch was opposite and would set clockwise only if the crown was turned down (toward the owner). I purchased this watch from a grey market dealer and now i am a little concerned that it may be fake or messed around with under the hood.

so my question is "is this normal?". Should i send the piece in for servicing to see what is going on between the dial and case back?

any help is much appreciated

there used to be an interactive guide on ap's site that would show you how to set the watch which included what direction to turn the crown. unfortunately they changed their site completely and that's gone now, but my 15450 is the same, to set the time forward you turn the crown towards yourself. the 15202 is the opposite for example (similar to most rolexes) and not sure about the 15500. it all depends on the movement
