I see that you live in the UK.
If you are able to stretch your budget slightly, that this maybe a possibility and from an impeccable source - Mr Mike Woods

I would love it, if I could afford it.

Thank you to everyone who helped me on this mission! I had so much great advice. In the end I surprised myself and decided to stay away from the Submariners and GMTs (as I have so many of them in the modern style) and went for something very different.

A 1973 rose (pink) gold Day-Date 1803. Quite rare to find a rose gold version, and a full-set too. Thanks again!

Wow. You'll see more Paul Newmans than rose-gold 1803s. Proper RG president bracelet, and full box and papers too?? You'd find a hundred hen's teeth before you came across that. I'm guessing approx. 1969.

Uber-cool to those who know. So under-rated. Congrats.

I agree. IMO gold looks awesome with some age.

Yes full set and all original. It is a 1973. As you say, pretty rare yet still within my budget! Compared to the steel, sports offerings for my budget I thought this was the pick. Thank you for your kind words.
