Indeed!

AP's ahead of schedule!

Hopefully this means they're all caught up after the pandemic stoppages (which reduced their annual production capacity in 2020 by 50%) and that we can start seeing things flow better.

That sounds interesting Gary, looking forward to seeing these

All so true Stephen

I was at the boutique yesterday and manage to try on some of the 43mm roo models.
Big surprise for me with regards to the wearing size of the new 43mm roo, which I feel that i should share- the lug to lug measurement is even smaller than the 42mm diver! The rubber strap is really also significantly softer than those in 44/42mm roo 👍🏻

There aren't any out there from what I understand so hence no live photos yet. (Not even Horoloupe/Wristcheck) got the gray ones in the marketing pieces to review.

My understanding is the color of the gray bezel and dial match existing gray ROO. Texture of dial will be of course different, but since the black dial couldn't really see the texture, I'm guessing the gray will look a bit matte as well.

Anyways, I'm with you Benlee, woudl love to see a photo of the gray one!

Picked up the rose gold and been enjoying the hell out of it for the last 2 weeks. Much more comfortable to wear than the previous 44mm ROO

I am curious to know if the vertical line finishing on the tappiserie will render a different shade of grey in real life.

My hope is that is does as well, but I think using the black dial as RLXSRGN‘s photo suggests probably not much and will get washed out with the color.

Excitement of something new aside though, I dare say with a calmer mind for those with normal or small wrists, the Oysterflex Daytona is probably a nicer watch.

I do also wish they could have made these just 1-2mm thinner as well.

Now having seen in person though, much much improved over last generation.

Here's an image i took at the boutique. I took the straps out of a diver and the new 43mm roo and put them side by side, and you can clearly see the lug-lug difference.

43mm is much more compact vs its 44mm predecessor than the 1mm difference (in nomenclature) would suggest.

They're all pretty thick. Don't have the exact dimensions in memory, but I remember the 42 divers, 43 ROO Chrono and old 44 chronos are are in the same neighborhood. It's like a proverbial brick or tank.

Just awesome.

Was shown this at AP House 2 weeks ago and didn’t dare try it on in case I loved it……which is a given.

Loved the Taupe 43mm ROO I did try on and share the other day though.

I don't know how to post pictures but here are the links, you can see the thickness at the last link. Website states that it's 14.4mm, and i think that's accurate. The thickness seems similiar to my 44mm roo.
