How long do I wait for a new link?

How long should I have to wait for a new link for my jubilee bracelet?

I picked up my first Rolex on the 21st (Datejust 41, jubilee, fluted Bezel, white face with sticks), and as I had said to the AD, I will need the bracelet sized as my wrist means that I can only get the thing on at the maximum setting. There is no give in the strap and it makes it uncomfortable to wear for any length of time.

I was told that they would size the watch when I collected, but when I did there was no sign of a new link being added. I was then told that a link should take only a few days to arrive and I can have it added when it arrives.

We are now at the 30th June and no sign yet.. How long should I be waiting before kicking up a fuss.

By the way, this is my first thread... Hello everyone.

I would give it until a few days after the 4th of July. If still no word, then call or jump in.

My AD ordered a half link for my SD43. It took exactly a week to get it in. This was a few years back, when everything was a little different.

Might not it be better to just call the dealer?

Hi I’m in England aswell I waited a few days for a sky dweller oyster link recently. They sometimes get their stock in and don’t call get round to calling you as they’re busy with other stuff (been surprised with a watch back from service this way.) give them a call.

FWIW, I requested a half link for my new white gold Submariner and it took a week for my AD to receive it.

Welcome. As others have said. Give it a few days then politely remind them or stop in even better

Same issue; just bought a new Daytona 116509, the usual white gold and blue dial. The AD ordered a fresh link, no luck (in the uk). So I can’t wear my beautiful watch at a small fortune. Surely, Rolex can do a better job, unkind to use customers. I just look at it, and wear a cheap Citizen, which fits, well done Rolex,

After speaking to the AD, they confirmed that they are having issues with Rolex and their ordering/computer system at the moment. No idea as to when this may be fixed, but as above... I get to stare at my beautiful new watch at the moment as I can't wear it.

Pick up a leather strap so you can at least wear it while you wait.
