Incoming 5524G
Perhaps the allure of the piece is that it was polarizing upon launch or that it was T. Stern's personal side project for that year, but whatever the case may be, it is superb in person. Craftsmanship is prototypical PP.
Anyways, no. more. thoughts. Only pics are important LOL |

Congrats on getting the 5524G1
It's great that you got the dark blue strap - in my opinion it suits the watch a lot better than the brown strap. |

Beautiful. I was looking at these recently online but think it's a bit out of my league as the cull on my existing collection would be a bit too much.

Looks fantastic, but double-check the strap. Looks to be about 1MM short.
IIRC, 5524s have 21MM lug width; strap appears to be 20MM

We probably we are not looking at the same thing. I haven’t had a better fit/made strap than this one. And yeah is 21mm I had the 5524G before and now the R so I know. By the way Jean Rousseau made this strap, and if you are not familiar then let me tell you that Jean Rosseau is the company that makes the straps for Patek. The difference is when Patek commissions the strap to them they put the patek imprint on them , but when a regular guy pays for it then the imprint says Jean Rosseau Just saying … Cheers Jorge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That one is definitely short. Your post is #26 and mine is #25, how in the world the guy from post #6 will figure out that you are talking about his strap ! Lol Anyhow thanks for the clarification, you might need to quote the person if you are making reference to a post that is too far behind. Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
