Also, don't be surprised if Roman and Thorpe start jumping on the "team livestream" concept very soon. That format (where 3-5 watch people shoot the sh*t) is starting to really catch on -- especially when you have interesting personalities involved.

Oisin O'Malley has been backing the Australian guy and appearing on his livestreams recently... and Oisin is generally very well liked and received.

Watchbox is getting stale. Mosso is knowledgeable... but the one-man livestream format isn't exciting.

Like Tiktok to Youtube. Competitors always chomping at the bits.

(Or shocking for an old timer like me, Tiktok CV's instead of paper resumes?)

A leaders job is to steer a company from one competitive advantage to the next. Those that struggle may be aware of the truth, but if they haven't accepted it and started moving, the competition will just leave them behind.

Watching these youtubers incestuously cross-inseminate each other is icky. Who falls for this bunk?

Anthony has the microphone... so, he can control his own narrative. It will be interesting to see how many people watch this video. I think the haters may be just as invested in watching every video as his fans are.

They seem to still have a fan base for the videos...whether those fans are buyers??

Disappointed a bit that they are doubling down on being watch dealers...I still see a ridiculous, multi faceted hype beast lifestyle channel in Anthony's future...but time will tell.

I've watched since their initial videos. Their new video is more of the same, blah, blah, blah. I would have thought after the blackout fiasco Anthony would have changed his approach. Obviously not. I watched about 10 minutes of the latest video and turned it off. They have overplayed the ostentatious flex lifestyle to the point that it's a turnoff, imho. I watch these videos to learn about watches, not to be impressed by an unsustainable, overbearing flash kardashian-type lifestyle. Enough of the soap opera.

Roman actually has the money to pay a web developer and an accountant. That is what puts him light years ahead of TPG. Nobody that is worth it, would do those jobs for free.

That video was a good move. First, lots of history for the new viewers that may be tuning in since the fiasco. Second, clear statement that the blackout was a dumb mistake and didn’t work. A relatively humble approach to trying to grow the business at a more sensible pace.

Finally, a segue back toward the usual “day in the life” content that a lot of people seemed to enjoy (in earlier times). I got bored with that.

He couldn’t quite resist feeding the trolls, or pumping the $50 million.

I am personally not a fan of the hype watch content or the hype watches. TPG may in the end just turn into a small or medium-sized grey market dealer, with a moderately interesting YT watch channel.

But it seems as if we are heading back to normal.

Wasn't there a Seinfeld episode where George does something awful at work or quits in a spectacular way and then decides to just show up Monday morning as if it never happened....

THAT is what THIS is.

Anthony posting watches on IG as “sold” yet each one is still listed as available on their site Either their inventory system still sucks or they are lying to create the illusion on social media that business is booming. These guys are clowns

I would be more interested in EBITDA.....that 50 number means -0- without context.

TPG isn’t a real business. It’s just a YouTube channel.

Per Anthony in the most recent video, “...we are not content creators. We are a watch business...”

Ok, then, they want to move forward and learn from their mistakes. We shall see...

I still enjoy watching their videos, drama, no drama, or whatever. Very entertaining.

Has anyone contacted the charity to see how much was donated to them?

If anybody does do that, could they time the length of time it takes for the charity to slam the phone down on them and report back?
