Ladie's Rolex with Ladybugs: any help with ID appreciated
My guess is that this is from the 60's. Any ideas?

This is just called a ladies cocktail watch. Since it isnt an oyster case then it will be tough to identify. Someone may have an old catalog that features this design. Because of the markings on the back it is most likely a factory made piece. Not much value other than the precious metal value unfortunately.
Probably from the mid-1950s from the design of the crown on the back and the dial arrowhead hour markers. If you take your fingernail behind that little lip on the case back at the top and pop off the back, there will be more identifying marks on the inside of the case back.

That’s a charming piece. What does the clasp on the strap look like?

I'd even guess as early as the 1940s. Certainly too early for the '60s.

The clasp looks like it’s oxidizing. No signs of hallmarks or assay stamps. You’re going to have to get the case back off to learn anything useful…

Here's a link to one that Christie's sold in Hong Kong in 2011. They claimed it was model 4563 and the watch which was for auction was case number 573279 from 1948.
https://www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-5496490 The one in the OP's photos has case number 585822 so I'm guessing it is from the same time frame, late 1940s. Bear in mind that the insects on the lugs are known as ladybirds in most parts of the world so any Internet searches should include that description. |

Ladybirds? I would have never thought of that. Thank you!

So it sold for around 1,200 USD at auction.
