I do think the problem with Patek is quality watchmakers, I’ve had two watches serviced in the past 2 years that were sent back, one of them three times and the final time the hands are slightly out and should of went back a fourth time, one watch came back with tho dings in the area the case is opened for a battery change, I guess they use the most inexperienced watchmakers on the quartz models and they just don’t care, they don’t hurry to rectify any problems and it puts me off buying anything with more compilations.

Yes the current Patek situation, it will be interesting to see what happens to the secondary prices, especially for the steel sports models.

To be fair, Patek is fairing far better than some others. Thankfully, Patek is honest about their in-house movements
