FS: Rolex Submariner ref. 5508 Small Crown

Offered for sale is a beautiful example of the iconic ref. 5508 Rolex ‘Small Crown’ Submariner (488,xxx Serial #).

Details:

Dial: The gilt dial has some cracking but retains its glossy finish. Under certain lighting, the dial shows a slight brown hue. The most notable blemish on the dial is some crazing around the 6 o’clock marker.

Case: Stainless steel case remains thick with visible original chamfers. Reference and serial numbers are visible between the lugs.

Strap: The watch comes fitted with a hand stitched leather strap and stainless steel buckle.

Additional: The watch currently runs but service history is unknown. No other accessories are included with the watch.

Asking $39,850 by wire (or check deposited to my bank account) shipped and insured within the US or face to face in the Los Angeles area. International shipping available at an additional cost.

Returns only accepted within 3 days of receipt if item is not as described and is returned in the same exact condition as it was originally sold. Refunds will be considered upon a full inspection and will amount to the purchase price minus shipping and handling costs.
