Odd/even date set correctly on Royal Oak?

This might be a really dumb question but for some reason I’m not able to configure my date such that it hits odd 31 / even 30 correctly at the end of the month depending on the month

For example, today morning the date went from 30 to 31 instead of 30 to 1. So I manually adjusted it to 1 once I noticed

Is this expected or am I not setting the watch properly?

Thanks

Hi there, this happens to ALL watches that does not have an annual/perpetual/atomic calender function.

For months following those that have 30 days, you have to manually turn the date from 31 to 1 at the beginning of the month. Unless your watch is a perpetual calendar.

Thanks! Major first world problems

So basically as long as watch keeps running, it’s expected we set the date once a month to correct for odd/even or feb date

…until the annual or perpetual is secured years from now

Unless you opt for an annual calendar (or perpetual that will also do leap year calculations) that will also track the months and automatically make the adjustment for you.
