Blackbay 58 bronze landed
I was lucky enough to be invited to a tudor event in London today with an opportunity to purchase the bronze.
It wasn't much of an event tbf and they had loads of "exhibition pieces" Here he is! 20211020_184103.jpg20211020_183725.jpg Sent from my SM-F926B using Tapatalk |

Congrats, looks great.
So did they have the BB58 Bronze in the display to sell? Thought the waitlist was long for them. |

It's a really fantastic piece. I'm loving mine. Size is perfect, dial is awesome and the bronze is such an engaging material.
My slightly more patininated example says hello from Australia. Sent from my CPH1607 using Tapatalk |

Will the bronze stay looking golden like that or will it tarnish??

There are a few videos around showing patina and cleaning methods. Mine gets a Polydent (denture cleaning tablet) bath every now and again if I'm feeling the patina is too dark. I don't believe these pieces will get to "crusty" like some Panerai models.
In humid Queensland weather, I do suffer a lightly stained wrist at the end of the day, and the patina does make the bracelet articulate more stiffly than SS bracelets. That said, I'm still loving it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biPgSOjLejo |

It looks great, that brown dial works well with the bronze.
6 months is not too bad. |

Boil an egg, when it is hard boiled crush it and put it in a sealable plastic container along with your watch.
Wait for the patina to develop to your liking and then remove your watch. |

I never noticed until just now that the Bronze has an explorer 3, 6, 9 type face whereas the other BB58 models do not. It looks fantastic!

Wait till you see the vids using tomato ketchup to clean off the patina and return it to new looking.....
