I am interested in acquiring an Overseas (4500v) and have visited an AD.
The salesman informed me that since the beginning of the year, it is madness for the blue dial. The lists are getting longer. Richemont also decided that this blue as well as the black are now boutique editions...

Hi. Can I know if VC offer other strap options ( like other colors, materials ) for the Overseas besides those that come with the watch? Since because of the quick-change strap mechanism, one is limited to the strap options that VC can offers.

Yes, they offer others but you can use a custom not quick strap. The screw in the case (where a spring bar would be) is also removable so you can use integrated bracelet style straps of the proper width.

The inside is buttery smooth and the links are shorter than they look and allow for a conformal fit. Best bracelet of any watch I've owned in finishing and comfort. It conforms to your wrist like a jubilee but has no chunky clasp so I give the nod to the VC for comfort. The dual micro-adjust is the best feature I've seen in a bracelet. It is genius and I was able to achieve a constantly changing perfect fit throughout inside and outside activities on a snowy day.

Hi, does anyone own a silver dial Overseas Simple/Dual time? May I see some photos? My local VC boutique is quoting me 5 years wait time for the blue so I'm gonna go with silver for shorter wait time

5 years waiting time is for the simple dial. What about the dual time?

Yep, I have the silver DT and in a collection with 9 other watches, it is my favourite. Honestly, don’t get hung up on the blue dial, get this, you will be very glad you did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

All Overseas are now only obtainable in the VC's boutiques.
Retailers have not been delivered since the end of 2019. To be on a list, you must pay a deposit (around 40 to 50% of the price of the watch). It's commercial policy in order to avoid the circus that happens elsewhere at the level of the lists, and of certain people taking places to make an immediate gain without mobilizing cash, or for another person, or putting in several places, or for nothing in the end because it was just to look pretty, and so on... "Unfortunately", the success is such that it is still necessary to wait years (especially for the blue dial versions) ! Of course there are some available immediately, but it took the rocket. We can count on solid value for the future, so if you have the means it's worth it although it hurts the wallet more...

This simply is not true of all VC overseas models. We have a retailer locally that continues to deliver overseas of all dial types and variations. Just last month he asked if I would want the white dial instead of what I put the deposit down on to get something sooner. He had it in the store. Everything comes with a wait - very long wait. But they are available outside boutiques and deliveries continue to the retailers. |

Two models that are popular that I took a small hit on in secondary value. At the end of the day, inclusive of taxes (and offset some by credit card rewards points), I got a brand new watch for $3k less than secondary market value used.

Giangos: Thank you for the photos, Dual time in silver looks phenomenal. I’d put my name down for that exact one as well. Finger crossed 🤞
moting: It depends on the dial color. Blue dual time is easily few years. For the silver dual time, they say I might get it “next year” (2022), so at least few months, at most a year |

This was through an AD that is affiliated with a VC Boutique (in a separate location), but the AD carried other brands. New Moonwatch and GS.

Place the blue and silver dials next to each other and the choice will be obvious.
