Really fabulous edition

Imagine there will be a fair bit of extra weight too from the WG.

Agreed, pricing is outrageous on this one. At $59,100, it's a full $33,200 over the steel version ($25,900).

For context, previous LE gold diver 15711OI was $37,400, only $14,600 over the steel version ($22,800).

Not too bad but €58k for this? Seriously?
For the same price you get a 15500OR full rose gold on bracelet...
I wouldn't buy this even with a 25% discount

It’s a nice watch but I don’t get the pricing.

It’s in the realm of of the RG ROO where you get a chrono too and a RG 15500.

Yes it’s white gold but it’s priced like 15-20k too high

Absolutely my thoughts too on its price. Simply way too much and I’d rather seek out the last (if it exists) Rose Gold Special Edition and just live without a ceramic bezel…

The dials on offshores are not done by hand like the regular models and the finishing is a step down too. Hard pass.

Looks good, but price is insane.

AP have really pushed through a lot of price inflation in the last couple of years. Seems like they are just trying to test the limits.

Compared to everyone else, AP has gone wild with their price increases, especially in the US market.

There was one a couple months ago.

And in the year 2020, they did a total of three separate price increases for the US market.

What nonsense is that?

May be nonsense but even so they still can’t keep up with demand. I’m still trying to get my first ad ap after 2 years

They can't keep up with demand because they have no desire to.

If it was priced the same as the RG diver I would be on the list.

It’s not a short term thing to significantly increase their output, even if they wanted to

Just a few years ago I could have picked up a new Diver for £8K.... like another lifetime.

There is no doubt they are adjusting their prices based on the current grey market. If I were them, I would do the same. This watch seems a bit wild price wise though. Why would anyone pick this over the new rose gold 43MM, which is actually a couple grand cheaper?

This is the only ceramic bezel diver in the new generation, correct?

Would sure be nice to get this bezel on a SS.

My mate just got this, i believe they were released in japan abit earlier? Anyway, this thing weighs a TONNE. Honestly if you were to go swimming or diving with this, you will never be able to emerge from the waters again lol

that's insane but absolutely accurate.

I like the japan rose gold version diver a lot more. but even before the hype I thought it was too pricey

Recently tried it on and it’s definitely a special piece. Still prefer the diver in ss, however. IMG_0237.jpg
