Phillips Hong Kong Auction Nov 25-26 - question

Does anyone know if the prices listed online for this recent auction are reflective of hammer price or if they include the buyer’s premium? Thanks!

Won't that be the hammer price with BP on top?

Sometimes. That’s why I’m asking.

Sometimes the final price with the buyer’s premium added is updated at a later time. I’m just trying to determine whether that has occurred yet. I’m hoping that somebody who was watching the auction would be able to confirm which price is currently listed. Thanks.

I believe the sold price is inclusive, the hammer price which is what shows on sold lots during an auction is without buyers premium.

I appreciate your input. Again, right after the auction the hammer price is often the price listed. I’m just trying to determine if anyone *definitively* knows if the prices have been updated to reflect the final price with buyer’s premium.

The other way to know for sure is just to wait another day or two. By that time the final price is listed.

Just looking at the first three lots (15202, 5711 blue, CB) I'd bet that the prices already include the buyer's premium. Not the farm, but nearly EUR 120k for a 2013 5711 blue that has very obviously been polished is more than enough.

Auction houses often list the hammer prices while the auction is still ongoing but in my experience they adjust the prices to include the premium soon after the last lot has been sold.
