I brought my SA some chocolates to thank her for the efficient way in which she got me my SD43 in these difficult times. I’m not on any lists with that AD now I received the watch I wanted, that was truly just a token of my gratitude. People who do nice things for you deserve to have nice things done for them.

I also get our local jeweler’s team a little something (typically chocolates too) along with the Christmas card we send them each year, because we just like them a lot as people and they always go above and beyond when we need things for the big occasions in our life. But again, no ulterior motives there either. They carry some nice watches and we do have very open discussions on what can be done when and where. But I’d send them the same chocolates if we did not.

Remember, the dignity you surrender at your AD‘s doorstep will never be recovered by wearing the watch he may get you.

Nothing wrong with doing something nice for someone.

Yes if the grocery store is selling me something thousands less than the market price and prefer to sell it to me over hundreds other on the line.

What is wrong with showing an appreciation? It is not for future purchases but the past. It is not a bribe but a thank you.
