How does the 3861 bracelet compare to Rolex jubilee?
I am seriously looking into buying a 3861 bracelet for my 1861 and was hoping to hear from those who have been wearing one for a while.
Is it a similar feel to the modern Rolex jubilee? Anyone not happy with how the new bracelet wears? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It is a great bracelet. Super comfortable- probably as comfortable as my oyster bracelet on my Explorer. However the one thing that almost ruins it is the lack of micro adjustment in the clasp.
I think at that price point, it’s an abomination that it doesn’t have it. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember that RJ from Fratellowatches[dot]com confirmed, that the clasp WITH micro-adjustment from this year's Speedmaster Chronoscope will be available for the 2021 Speedy Bracelet.
The circumstances of how and when are unknown so far... Cheers, Michael Gesendet von meinem SM-G950F mit Tapatalk |

Great bracelet and very comfortable. Different animal than the Rolex bracelet. I own the Jubilee on my BLRO and BLRN and they are for lack of a better term, perfect for fit, wear and adjustability. I own the 3861 and a 1861 and have not tried the bracelet from the 3861 on the 1861 as I use it for straps and aftermarket bracelets. Look at Forstner Bracelets for the Speedmaster. Classic good looks and very reasonably priced. They also have a serious clasp that has a lot of adjustment.

Rolex jubilee is superior compared to a 3861 bracelet. But the 3861 with a chronoscope clasp is ok as then you get the adjustable clasp at least.

I've got several Rolex's with Jubilee bracelets and very familiar with how they feel. I've been wearing my 3861 bracelet almost nonstop since getting it around three weeks ago. The Jubilee is significantly heavier than the 3861, but not uncomfortably so. The Omega boutique sized my 3861, so I can't comment on how difficult that is, but it's very easily to adjust a Jubilee. The 3861 is "slinkier" than a Jubilee, and if you hold the bracelet in the way one usually does to indicate the stretch, a new 3861 deflects much more so than a new Jubilee, more like one that has stretched. I got a great fit on my 3861 so I can comment on the pros/cons of the clasp adjustments. It's a great bracelet and actually a pretty good bargain at around $700. I'm sure a stainless Jubilee is at least double that price.

I think the new bracelets on the 3861 are awful. It’s one of the reasons I’m looking to still buy a 1861. They feel flimsy and poorly made. I have an older Speedy automatic with a similar style bracelet that is made way better (and has been going strong for 30 years with lots of wrist time). Jubilee is much nicer though I prefer oyster.

I interchange daily between a jubilee and the 3861 bracelet. The jubilee have a slight edge, but think the 3861 is great, feels solid and modern.
If one is used to the older chunkier Omega bracelets, then the 3861 bracelet will likely feel a little "light". Nevertheless, completely disagree with below. |

What exactly clasp adjustment you have on Jubilee? 5mm which is too long or too short. It's not a Sub.
3861 is good looking and light bracelet. Some people confuse between the weight and quality. The clasp has 2 holes if needed. IMO all this micro adjustment craze is overblown. |

The 3861 does not compare to a jubilee, which is arguably the most perfect bracelet in existence. I’ve tried oysters, presidents, AP, Nautilus etc and simply nothing is as comfy. The 3861 was not bad by any means, but apart from the taper it was no more comfortable than my 1861 bracelet. And I wasn’t crazy about the 3861 style. However, the Apollo 11 50th anniversary bracelet I got for my 1861 looks beautiful and is way more comfy than the 1861/3861 original bracelets (and more comfy than an oyster). You can buy it from omega. I used Uncle Seiko hollow end links with mine to get the perfect fit. |

Speedmaster bracelet can be paired with a Seamaster clasp (glide lock like mechanism) and after installation by the Omega boutique, I now can adjust on the fly and get a good fit.

The newly released Speedmaster Chronoscope does have a clasp that can be adjusted on the fly without tools, and it reportedly should be a direct swap onto the new Speedmaster Pro bracelet. Still only two positions for a total of ~2-3mm, but no tools needed, so think of it as Omega's answer to the Easy Link offered now on most Rolex bracelets. |
