Maybe in the minority, but does anyone else think these meteorite Daytona's look too busy? I think out of all them I personally like the RG oysterflex with the added black of the bezel and the bracelet. Maybe I would change my mind if I ever saw one in person.

IMO you need the CE Bezel and in person they are stunning. I absolutely love mine!

I agree. I’m reading a book right now about mimetic theory and the first connection to a real-world example was the watch industry as of late, and this reference and the frenzy behind it is further proof.

Man, that's awesome. I was the first person during the trunk show to request that white gold one... was given thumbs up but he said it would be "forever long". Not even in production at the time (Spring) they showed me the demo ones, he claimed. The meteorite is incredible and features so much 3D variation with light. Plus it's a true panda dial, albeit a space panda.

Sadly, if selling for triple I suspect backdoor deals will be too tempting for many ADs.... Can't wait to see more of these pop up at any rate.

The black sub dials work so well with the meteorite.

My personal opinion about the meteorite dial in a Daytona is that it is too crowded. It bothers too much. A meteorite dial is stunning when you see it as a whole.

So it is not my cup of tea

Your AD must love you to get the first

Have you heard anything about people with the bracelet version?

Beautiful watch. I have the exact same one so it is interesting to see the differences in the dials.

WOW! That is absolutely gorgeous. Congrats, I love it!

I've been hoping to get a Meteorite Daytona from my AD, but it seems that might not be happening so I went another route recently to satisfy the itch. Very jealous, enjoy that amazing piece!

Did your AD share or hint at what level of purchase history was needed to get a meteorite dial?

Harder or easier for specific variations? WG RG YG OF?

Difficulty compared to say the green dial YG daytona? Compared to a steel white dial daytona? More difficult thant he GMT meteorite?

The way it is going I'm going to suggest these meteorite Daytonas are up to twice as hard to get as the green / blue / steel / choc dial Daytonas.

My AD sees 1-2 green dial Daytonas per year. Not 1 meteorite delivered yet. I expect them to see 1 a year unless things change.

Congratulations. I'm apparently high on the list for a white gold on OF but again told it's by allocation from Head Office only - still they're optimistic I'll get one but it may be 1-2 years if Head Office give me the nod.
