Looking forward to February 15 th !

Being single, I’ve learned to go “dark” from Thanksgiving to Valentine’s Day due to lack of ROI.

You're giving your wife actor Peter Hayden Dinklage? Impressive!

Upkeep costs could get a bit pricey tho.

Awesome my Brother! If you had In & Out Burger there that would a winner for sure. Enjoy the double arches!

Geez Steven, you're really rockin' this thread! LOL

I only can wish that my wife would let me get away with a trip to Mickey D's and no flowers. I have probably almost maybe convinced her that my gifts scattered amongst the year should more than make up for skipping a fake holiday contrived by greeting card and flower companies.

And I'm with you guys that think that it is a fool's errand to try and go out for dinner on these holidays.

So, I got her a card (mandatory) and will pick up flowers (roses) this afternoon unless I can convince her that she has enough already (condolence flowers recently) and last night (because they were on sale) I made a surf & turf gourmet dinner with bone-in NY strips and lobster tails.

Flowers and that crap is fine for when you're courting, but once the ball and chain have been firmly attached, we should get a break, don't you think?

Dozen roses and a couple of steaks I’m cooking tonight. Also sprung for a nice prosciutto, baguette, triple cream brie. That’s all we require. Going out is very foolish on V day in my experience.

I'm sitting at the olive garden bar strolling through this thread, I sucked a lemon through my straw from my lemon and cola, I tried throwing it back in my glass, it riccocheted and landed in the guys soup sitting next to me and he just continued to eat it before I could warn him and now its far too late... whoops

I give her the joy of doing everything she dreams of me doing…

1. Shower

2. Shave

3. Shut up.
