Means that you buy the watch only, which essentially is everything you need.

I guess today with over the internet purchasing it doesn't matter what one wears. I really didn't need the visual however.

For me, any modern reference needs to be complete.
Nothing wrong if you feel otherwise.

If it’s a keeper and will never sell + knowing/trusting the seller….sure. Other than that, I’d want full set.

I still don't get this whole fixation with boxes (easily replicated and purchased on eBay) and papers (which can also be forged without much trouble). If you are concerned about the watch not being authentic, then fake papers aren't going to help. If there's no warranty card, then there's likely no warranty. If the warranty card is present and the warranty has expired, then it's worthless.

Natch in resale, B&P are very important, so the price should reflect the lack of same.

My rule of thumb is this:

Naked is acceptable for vintage (4 & 5 digit references)
Naked is not acceptable for Modern (6 digit references)

Notice I use the word "acceptable" - do your homework always.

The 268655 is a modern new reference. It's only been around since 2016. Not sure how the card or box would get lost but I wouldn't do it.
