Sub 126619LB

Hi. Just curious as to why the Sub 126619LB isn't selling at a huge premium like most other Rolex watches. You can get a brand new set for around 10% over MSRP. Any thoughts?

Good question, it’s a lot of watch for the money and a great buy! Nothing like the weight of PM!

Because it's a $51k watch that looks like a $10k steel watch?

Then why would the BLRO or others be trading at a +100% premium?

Yes exactly. Luckily many people aren't buying just for show.

The MSRP is around $45k now

Blue dial makes it stand out, perhaps? No idea.

The WG Sub with a black dial just looks like a regular Sub, albeit with a blue bezel? Just like the Cermit? I don't know, looks a bit bland for a 51k watch.

My personal thought is that this might be be biggest sleeper in the catalog. the WG and the polished center links along with the blue bezel makes it perfect.

I like the heft if this PM piece and most people thinking it is a $10k steel sports timepiece. I am fine with it. Like said before, those that know…know.

Slightly too flashy. That’s my reason for not wanting one.

Sub 126619LB

Thread needs more pics!

But if you like subs it’s the best I’ve owned. Can’t tell you the what or why on markup versus SS, but yeah MSRP about $40k and gray about $50k.

Let me tell you…I bought this watch just about a month ago for msrp plus tax from my AD. Came out to 44,260 in nyc. This has quickly become my favorite watch by farrrr. The heft if obvious great but the real fun is confusing the sh*t out of everyone lol. I’m from south Brooklyn, everyone’s flashy, and most guys understand watches. Lots or presidential and yellow gold Rolexes in general. I lost count of how many heads I’ve turned, confused looks, and compliments I’ve received. The guys with the yellow gold watches quickly get humbled, and might even feel a little silly wearing a loud YG piece. Some people know right away what it is, some people think its a Batman, some people dont look twice at it. It’s by far the ultimate sub and those who know, know exactly what I’m talking about. And best believe it’s slowly picking up steam on the Grey market…51+ easy

It all comes down to demand. This is a watch for a watch enthusiasts only!!! It’s for the people that want to flex quietly- only nerds like us know it’s 40k+ sub and not a 10k sub. So that hurts the demand.

I think it looks rather dull without the blue dial.

If doesn't look like a SS watch in person (not that it would matter if it did). WG doesn't look remotely like SS in the real world. It has a visual depth and lustre all of its own.

Smurf is still the grail. And discontinued. This new blueberry is still nice just bigger @ 41”mm and wider bracelet may be only attractive to those that 1) had a Smurf or couldn’t get one 2) have bigger wrists and want 72hr power reserve.

It’s a great watch and personally prefer it over the 116619 which I had as well. For the money I think it is a value compared to the market.

Thanks for all the answers.

I found a brand new full set for 48k at a local grey dealer, that I'm thinking about buying.
