34. 16800, which I still cherish. All purchase accessories (box, documents, etc) were thought to be long gone/misplaced, but to my glee I lately found the guarantee ("paper")!

I was 81 and bought it (DJ white dial)because it looked goodand thought it would be a nice gift for myself after surviving cancer surgery. I have worn it for 1 year and quite frankly it just ok. Sorry but I have not not become a great fan of Rolex but recognize it is a very well made product but simply over priced. I am purcasing an Apple watch as it is more practical. Will give the Rolex watch to my grandson. Put your money in your retirement accountant.

26, I picked up a birth year 1995 Air King 14010 with a navy blue dial and engine turned bezel. Love this watch and have worn it just about every day since i picked it up. I was coming from a 1986 Tudor Prince Oysterdate. Loved the small 34mm oyster case but really wanted the Rolex quality. Still own the Tudor and love it just as much as ever, but nothing beats the quality of a Rolex as a daily watch. If you can afford one, it is never to early to indulge in this passion and buying your first Rolex is right of passage in this hobby.

Absolutely fantastic choice. This was also my first Rolex and I think its one of the most under appreciated on Rolexes of all time.

First Rolex was purchased at 23, a silver dialed Air King. I sold it a few years later and have collected various brands ever since. Jumped back onto the Rolex band wagon at age 50 with the purchase of a 39MM Explorer and a 41mm Submariner. Patiently waiting for a GMT BLRO to relive my youth watching Magnum PI.
