Damage Caused By UN SERVICE CENTER
My Ulysse Nardin 1846 Marine Chronometer came back from the UN Service Center with a scratch on the case back which is titanium (that resembles stainless steel). The Service Center wants me to return the watch for polishing to correct the damage. I hesitate to send the watch back because l didn’t have it polished in that it was virtually unworn when I sent it in and I fear the repair will be botched. Also I’m not sure about polishing titanium.

Im not sure what help we can be or what youre even asking but you have two options: live with the scratch or send it back to them to make it right which it sounds like theyre willing to do.
