How do PM's from members disappear from my inbox? I had a member reach out about a listing and asked my to email him. I went back to look up his history and his PM had vanished. Scam?

Likely a phishing attempt. Did the PM include a link? If you clicked on it and logged in, your username and password have been stolen. Change your password now.

There was a TRF link that was allegedly to a possible trade. I figured it was a scam so I changed my password right away. I've looked through my history and don't see any post that are no mine so I'm assuming my account is safe?

The worst are FB Marketplace ones where they will agree to any price (warning 1) and then tell you they will e-Transfer you the amount (over $3k, which is rare) (Warning 2).

Hi all,

I received a PM from "dlek4" this morning regarding providing a review from a seller for a potential transaction.

There was also a URL.

The account is listed as banned, but just want to ensure that we update our fellow members regarding this current activity.

I also received a spammer message, earlier today, from username CALEB7:

I'm emailing regarding my first big purchase a Rolex GMT-Master II 126710blnr from a TRF member, The seller indicate that you can vouch for him.
Price is very well below market price and seller has some past history posting on the forum, So i was curious and thought it would be worth the due diligence.

He gave me two references email to contact, the other is very positive about seller. Here's the listing, If you're curious about it on TRF.
