PM Service Questions
My submariner is seven years old and have received advice that it needs service. The watch back has never been remeoved. I do not have a relationship with a Rolex dealer near my home, so I prefer to send the watch to a factory service center. I live in the USA.
Several Questions: Should I be concerned about the orginal gold crown, movement, face, hands, etc., being returned with the watch? Which Factory Service center would you recommend? Address? How much should it cost to do full lub service on this watch? Thank you in advance for your help. Lucki |

I have had my watches serviced over the years and I know they don't replace the crown, movement or hands. They regulate, polish/buff and oil the indsides. I bring mine to the local AD, which is also a RSC, in SF. I would think you would bring yours to an AD and let them ship it to a RSC. I believe service was about $550-$700.

If you are in Georgia, the nearest Rolex Service Center is in Dallas....... give them a call about shipping and packaging..
Expect it to cost about 500, as has been said.. Your watch is fairly new, so it is unlikely that they would change any visible parts, except perhaps the crown.... if it is worn, it is frequently changed, but it is not an issue. Usually dials and hands are only changed if they are the old tritium style and have degraded.... they never return exchanged parts... You might also check with some of the Dealers in your area, such as the larger Ben Bridge type of store...frequently they have a Rolex contracted watchmaker on staff.
