If true, hope it’s Mercedes hands and not those snowflake blocks.

Highly doubt it. Tudor aren’t going to reduce black bay demand and Rolex won’t allow competition with its own Submariner.

Would love to be wrong though.

Ranger makes sense now the Pro is out, Sub doesn’t make sense considering the success of BB line.

I don't see this happening but it wouldn't be to hard to release a new BB58. Just take the existing BB58 and use the dial layout of the Tudor 9411 with date (no cyclops). I prefer the snowflake hands with the square indices and would be all over it. I think this would be as close as Rolex would let them get. This rumor seems to pop up every year so I doubt anything comes of it. If it does the grey market will scoop them all up anyway.

In another thread, I called a new Ranger. That’s what I’m sticking with.

I just can't see Tudor ever releasing a Tudor Sub again.

Can someone explain to me how a Tudor sub would be different to the current BB line? The BB line is inspired by the vintage Tudor subs. I am never sure what people want when they say they want Tudor to release a sub.

My call on another thread was a BB Pro with a white face. I am going to stick with that.

IF it's true, and IF it's done well, then this could be incredible news.

But I think it's all HIGHLY unlikely. I just can't see Big Daddy Rolex allowing anything too close to their own beloved Sub. Plus I have no doubt that a well done, and well priced, Tudor Sub would effectively kill BB sales overnight. Still, I'll happily be proved wrong on this one.

I only hope it won’t be thick like all the 41 mm line across Tudor watches.

And if will be like the prince date style OMG

I hope it is true but if they did I'd guess it would somehow be very limited.

That would be interesting. But I wonder what makes it a submariner if not because it shared half the component with Rolex Sub. One of the reason I got my Tudor sub is because you get a Rolex case, bracelet, crown, clasp etc, but have the ability to get it in blue without PM and way cheaper. I can't imagine a new submariner is going to look like the new Sub41. If that is true, it'll just great news, but also probably a year long waitlist haha.

I would much rather they release another Black Bay than re-release a Tudor submariner. Hopefully if they do, they actually have snowflake hour markers to match the hands. Ought to give the Rolex snobs something to jeer about.

No need for a Sub when a BB58 with a date or a thinner Pelagos would be good enough.

I don’t think a BB 58 date/Tudor Sub would actually compete with the ceramic sub. Completely different price ranges and the BB58 crowd doesn’t really like the 6-digit subs. Keep the metal bezel insert, snowflake hands, and no cyclops—take my money.

My wife gave me a Tudor gmt s&g as a present - my first Tudor. On my wrist as I type - leather band. I always thought the snow flake hands would be a big deal…but I actually like them! There is no problem with legibility at all.

I am incredibly impressed with this watch. The quality and little details are so far above my expectations, it is hard to go into it without becoming a superlative typing simpleton.

If Tudor is releasing something new next week, my one hope is that it is stainless steel with an adjustable clasp.

No chance they release this again.
Makes zero sense to both brands….

Picture of mine for wishful thinking though

It’s actually funny. My dream watch for years was the Pepsi GMT master II. But when I actually saw it, I didn’t like it. I still would have tried to buy one, but the Tudor GMT a caught my eye. It’s less flashy, and evokes the older Rolexes that I actually liked. If the Tudor didn’t exist, I would probably still be trying to get the Pepsi.

I think it might be the same with the Sub. And I think it’s going to happen with the Explorer 2/Tudor BB Pro.

Don’t know, but maybe as they did before: current Sub case, mon Rolex guts and some different colours (?)

Otherwise you’re right that the BB has it covered.
