Datejust 1603 Leather Straps
I originally posted this in the general forum, but I’m hoping to find more responses here. Do any 1603 owners have a strap that they can recommend? I have taken it to two different ADs and they do not have one that will fit properly. I’m open to all suggestions as long as it fits. Thank you!

Any 19mm strap should fit.

20 mm, surely. 19 mm width would leave unsightly gaps at the edges.
Bulang and Sons have some nice Horween Shell Cordovan straps (exclusive leather made from a horse's butt skin ) that look really good on a DateJust. They develop a delightful sheen as they age. |

All 36mm DJ have a 20mm lug width so you need a 20mm strap not 19. I had a DJ 16234 that I was wearing on a brown suede from GLC Straps. They are very good quality extremely comfy and decent price. .

Thanks for all the responses. According to Everest, straps that fit the 5 and 6 digit DJs won’t fit the 4 digit DJs. I observed the same thing when I was at the AD. I think I’m going to just have to experiment. The straps suggested here both look great.

I had a brain fart, I was thinking the 1603 was 34mm for some reason. Yes, 36mm is a 20mm strap

Everest have integrated bracelets so cases might be different. But for a leather strap you only need to worry about the lug width here 20mm and then bracelet length depending on your wrist size.

Strapsco.com has nice leather straps at very fair prices. I own several and they hold up well.
