Does the price matter if we can't buy a watch from an AD? For me, the price increase means maybe a slightly shorter waiting list.

However, such a move will certainly narrow the margins of the grays, since they have to constantly lower their prices due to the recession.

Yes UK prices are all up. Here are a few changes:

Submariner 7150 to 7500 (Sub date green now 8900! Bluesy now 12350)

BLRO on oyster 8400 to 8850

OP36 4650 to 4800

YM40 9800 to 10350

Explorer 5700 to 6000

DJ jubilee fluted 7000 to 7300

So in less than a year the bluesy is £900 up, so is the YM. I can't remember the prices for the other Subs and GMT masters but it is more I think.

So frustrated. Not only beacuse of limited stock as always in the UK, the price also is higher than other places.

It's rare to see the arrogant, overinflated nobodies get force fed humble pie on these forums by a 60+ year old with a GoPro. Thorpe unknowingly made this more fun for me than watching the value of my collection shoot up!

Surprising, considering the recent weakness of the Euro against the Swiss Franc.

I collected my 124060 Submariner on 24th September 2020, cost £6450, if I went to buy another one today just less than two years later it would now set me back £7500.

That is some price rise, £1050 in two years, wow!!!

Exactly, and similar for the YM at 900 and the Bluesy at 900. I guess the BLRO is more

I bought my 126610LN at the end of October 2021 for £7300.

Today, circa 10 months later, the price is £8450. Increase of £1150 (16%) in less than a year.

Currency fluctuations.....

Yen has posted a 24 year low.

GBP has had its worst month since 2016.

Price rise will align global prices more closely.
