Would you like to give us a rough idea of the year/serial number?

So now I'm wondering if it was before or after the serial reset. If this is a 1940s watch, I doubt it would have come with a bracelet. But perhaps it is from the 50s. In any case, a straight end rivet would be appropriate IMO, if that appeals to you.

I think it really depends on what you mean by "appropriate". If it came with a bracelet, I think most likely it would have been a straight end rivet, and I wouldn't worry so much about the number as long as it's authentic and relatively period correct.

If you want something with fitted endlinks, you could probably make a 7205 with appropriate endlinks fit, but it might take some fiddling.

Not all bracelets have numbers. You just need to hunt. I'm also looking for one, so if you find one, don't post it here, and buy it fast. ;-)

A mid-50s OP would/could have come on the hair pulling rivet Oyster, or the original buyer could have opted for leather. Back then the Dealer had options for the buyer to choose from

A good bracelet from the era could be worth more than the watch. The real question is finding what you want, a 70-year-old usable bracelet.
