Do you use “the watch hobby” as a form of therapy?

Not so much watches for me any more, as they've gotten too expensive, but shopping in general does let the mind rest a bit.

For me it's more about cars than watches, maybe because I enjoy driving more than I enjoy looking to see what time it is.

Yes in that at times it keeps my mind occupied and away from veering towards other undesired places.
