Going to see Billy Connelly next month!

I cant wait. I think he is absolutely brilliant and hysterically funny.

Anyone ever seen him live

Nope, haven't seem him live. Is that the comic who is reliving the laverne and shirley show or something?

One comic that I saw on TV before and was funny was Russel Peters. Anybody heard of him?

Billy Connelly is an old friend of Sean Connery's and his side-splittingly funny.

Russel Peters is effing hilarious! 'Somebody gonna get a hurt, real bad!'

I didn't realise he was touring.

Billy Connolly is my favourite stand up comedian by a distance. I have most of his DVDs too and for some reason he can use the most depraved language yet he still has the ability not to offend. He's a pretty sharp guy with his humour.

John you are really going to have a great time at this gig.

Yeah Justin, I think that's why he's so funny because he's so depraved, yet not offensive! My buddy (recent emmigre from the UK) is saying we should go in kilts, although 12 rows back I'm not sure it would be worthwhile.

Thats a good idea.

Well, Bill might not be able to see you from 12 rows away but it would look cool to the rest of the crowd.

If he's staying locally he usually just walks to the gigs so if you are early enough chances are he will see you.

Well, I know he will make comments if he sees a fellow Scot abroad. Since I'm 6 generations removed, it's a stretch... but hey, all my relatives (mostly) married Scots or Scottish immigrants here.
