I agree as well. The only co-branded watch I own is the newest IWC Top Gun Pilot Chronograph; the standard black version. They’ve kept it to the caseback and while the Top Gun logo is silly, I sort of justify it as Top Gun being its own product line within the Pilot line. I was also a flight surgeon in the Navy (though not with Top Gun specifically.)

I’d really like the next Seamaster 300M to essentially be the No Time to Die Seamaster with no Bond branding, in steel, with the usual color offerings. I just don’t think a dive watch needs a date, but I could take or leave it. Keep the waves on the dial also. I personally like how they did them here.

I really like this one. Have had my current 2531.80 since 2015 and love that thing. It’s been with me all over the world. This is a nice, modern version of it. Really thinking of getting one.

I’m pretty sure Omega was selling versions of these before Tudor came out with the BB58.

Beautiful watch, love the box, too...and the concept of a moving image on the caseback from the gun barrel logo sequence is both novel and technically remarkable.

Hope it's as available as their 007 commemorative watches have been, rather than scarce like the Ed White and Snoopy watches.

If it is readily available, I'll do my best not to buy it! I've got a Seamaster Diver 300 from the mid 90s, the reference used in "Tomorrow Never Dies" and subsequent Brosnan films. So, it's not like a need a blue Seamaster....

But, the caseback is damn cool. And, the color of the dial and bezel, quite striking. And, combining the Milanese style bracelet with the blue dial and bezel is both a handsome combination and one that evokes the Omega Seamaster Divers that have been used across the Brosnan and Craig films.

Now, if they'd just put a tear gas cartridge in the box, so if you open it the wrong way...it explodes in your face, a la the attache case in "From Russia With Love". Now that would be a handy way to store it in your gym locker or hotel room!

And, yes, I am kidding.

Nicely done, Omega!
Ah, the good old days before the highest bidder gets the product placement. Still, no need for small details like that get in the way of the anniversary.

In fact did Fleming not mention Bond wearing a Rolex in the books?

The "real" Bond wore Rolex. It's known.

I like it. Very clean and love the dial back to the 90s waves. Personally, I think Omega is moving toward Rolex's business model in they dropped the LE and moved to LP. The NTTD wasn't in this catergory but I suspect they will use 'special' pieces to hold that rareness i,e snoopy, bond anniv etc. Someone on Omega forum said his OB said theyre only getting 3 full stop

Very clean release and not overly cheesed with 007 theme. Def will check it out but visually, I prefer the NTTD (more special looking). Go Omega good job

Pasted same question on WatchUSeek, but we cannot fit the classic bond 300m SMP bracelet (not the mesh) to this 60th anniversary, correct? Since this shares a case with NTTD. Unless I’m just being ignorant, in which case I would LOVE TO BE WRONG! Surely the NTTD is a different case (42mm) than the current gen SMPc (41.5mm)? So the SMPc bracelet wouldn’t fit the 60th anniversary? I would so love to be wrong since I love the original bracelet design (even if it doesn’t taper, I love it).

The lug-to-lug width is 20mm for the current generation SMPc, the NTTD, and the 60th Anniversary Edition. The mesh bracelet on the NTTD left an annoying gap on the inner side of my wrist. I’m expecting the same experience with the SS mesh of the 60th Anniversary Edition. However, the current generation SMPc bracelet should fit the 60th Anniversary Edition since they’re both share identical lug-to-lug widths.

I love the dial, that’s how the new one should have been, taper the bracelet and it would be almost perfect. I don’t like the 60 on the bezel, should be a traditional dive bezel.

The issue isn’t the 20mm lug width. It’s the lug holes being drilled in a different location so the standard bracelet may not fit properly if the lug holes aren’t located in the right spot.

I just realized this watch is thicker than my Sky-Dweller. Lug to lug is slightly less in comparison.

I still look forward to seeing it in person and purchasing.

I believe that this is the case. The lug holes on the NTTD are not in the same location as the SMPc. One member tried to fit the rubber strap from a SMPc on a NTTD and had a devil of a time. I believe he had to use curved spring bars and it still didn't sit well.

Correct, happened to me. Standard rubber didn’t fit NTTD. My guess, same here

Ah that’s a shame if it doesn’t fit. I would love to put the SMP bracelet on the 60th but the standard rubber not fitting the NTTD isn’t a good sign…

I wonder if there’s some workaround with the spring bars or something, as mentioned. Sounds tougher with steel than with rubber though…

EDIT:
Also here is a relevant OF link: https://omegaforums.net/threads/why-...to-die.124039/

Seems like it would be much harder to get it to work with stainless steel… sigh.

I quite like it - not sure if I £7k like it however. It has a hint of BB58 blue about it as it’s quite a dull muted blue by the looks of it. I tired of that eventually, but maybe the waves will help.

It’s a good effort I think and looks to me as well they will try and have a sought after Seamaster model so restricted supply likely.
Would have liked them to change the clasp, I felt it was too bulky on the NTTD model. Will be heavier now as well on the steel.

For the folk who said they werent sure the $2000 premium over the Seamaster 300 was worth it, I purchased a couple of original Omega SS mesh bracelets from Little Treasury Jewelers for $750 each.

Much prefer the lighter mesh bracelets, having bought the NTTD watch first ,I realised how much more comfortable this was than my later purchases - which were black Seamaster on black rubber strap and the grey/blue bezel with SS bracelet.

Same. I hope it fits but it sounds as though there may be an issue with this.

I love this release. However, 7k for an omega Seamaster is way overpriced imo. Should’ve kept msrp in line with the 300m.

If it's released in the same numbers as the Snoopy (which it sounds like their plan), then what Omega charges for MSRP won't matter for most of us.
