Incoming - Seamaster Bond 60th Anniversary
Just got the call to say the Bond 60th anniversary in steel is waiting for me at the boutique. Needless to say I have jumped on it already. Very keen to see it in the flesh and already have the No Time To Die watch.
This ones strikes me as being quite special, think they have ticked all the boxes they have missed on previous bond models. Pictures coming once in hand Wednesday at the latest. |

Indeed, love the no time to die but also prefer the stainless steel over titanium for weight. Looking forward to receiving it.

Well, its arrived and way better looking in the flesh. It’s substantially heavier than the NTTD version but in my opinion, a better version of the Bond watch. Long story short, it’s a belter!
However, really difficult to photograph well. The pictures don't pick up how well in looks in real time. One you have to see in the flesh guys, would be very difficult to say no if you can get your hands on one, plus the casebook is very very cool when its working. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A comparison next to the no time to die too for you guys. Have to say, the 60th anniversary is perfect!

I agree the watch is amazing and looks better in person. Congrats.
Wish they didn't do the caseback animation and just made it as thin as nttd. That would have been perfect for me but the animation is definitely very cool in person. |

It's surprisingly heavy actually. Weighs about 60 grams more than the no time to die watch. That's a huge difference in the scheme of things.

The caseback looks great in operation. Difficult to catch on video but it works really well. I was dubious till I saw it, however, love the weightier thicker case. The no time to die is a special watch, if they recreated a steel version with slimmer case it would have made the NTTD a bit pointless IMO. Its supposed to be a field watch, something this one is not trying to be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Love it. It looks substantial thicker. I'm guessing that's due to the animation on the back?
Wear it in good health.

Congratulations again, looks fantastic
Pro Tip for taking pictures … sit in your car outside in virtually any type of light (sunshine, gray sky etc.) and you’ll get really fantastic pictures |

Congratulations, you have two special Bond pieces. What I particularly like about the new 60th anniversary model is the corrugated aluminum dial. This gives the watch that special charm of the earlier editions. For weight comparison, my regular SMP minus two links weighs about 168 grams.

Agreed and thank you. I too love the wave dial, the watch is so hard to photograph due to light etc. it really is a very well thought out piece. An extremely tasteful Bond piece. I live the NTTD, however this one slightly edges it IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's one heck of a duo, congrats! I'm so glad they made this limited edition based on the watch that started it all.
