Our Take
The 16220 straddles between the perfect blend of vintage and modern. The ref. 16220 was among the first five-digit offerings within the Datejust family, and importantly one of the first to also use a sapphire crystal. This example features a stainless steel "engine-turned" bezel and a sought-after grey stick dial. This watch is the perfect blend if you're looking for a more sporty semi-vintage Datejust.

This particular ref. 16220 is in good pre-owned condition, meaning there are light signs of wear. There are no major knicks or dings, only superficial marks which could very easily be polished upon request. The bracelet will fit up to about 7.50" wrists and has very minimal strech. The watch is currently keeping time within COSC at about +2.6s/d.
