There's been quite a few pretty cheap deals on (non-blue) Sky-Dwellers lately I've noticed.

It’s funny seeing so many JM Daytonas popping out on top of the already many of them for sale after being discontinued. Gonna be another season of inter-dealers trades to pump and dump

Agreed -- discontinuation of a piece that was mass produced for years doesn't mean much.

I’ve never seen so many Milgausses. There were 3 in a row and saw over a dozen posted today on MODA

dealers were hoarding them every year in anticipation of it being discontinued and to be able to cash out. i don't really think there will be a lot of them around once the dust settles |

i just wanted to say that mass produced by definition means it's not hand made, and yes rolexes aren't hand made, but when most people say it i feel like they don't mean literally but rather imply that mass produced means it's made in huge quantities and commonly found/obtained |

to add to the above - there are 64 results on chrono for the green daytona and 14 or 15 of those are stock photos which probably means those dealers don't actually have them. so 50 available on a global marketplace. for reference there are 51 15407s, 450 15500s, 221 15202s and 534 hulks. i would say the green daytona is kinda rare despite it being "mass produced"

This statistics is what ADs say. Do you really believe it? I don’t because there were some ADs telling me they didn’t see a single 116508(any dial) in the past 2 years coming into their shop. If most ADs are getting less than 2 pieces a year, maybe Rolex should put this dial in their off-catalog range. It’s all smoke bombs in the past 3 years or so. Nothing the AD says can be believed. Truth only told to sharks and these sharks won’t tell you the truth

Edit : Few months down the road, people who invested in JM at the current pricing will get their fingers burnt for a 2nd time |

Prices slump by up to 50% for discontinued Rolex watches (Watchpro)

Don’t get the sneakiness here about moda.
I have saved a TON in fees over chrono24 and found some watches in there I would never have found otherwise. It’s the only place you can really find independents… I like TRF but TRF is literally just dealers spamming mediocre prices in the classifieds. |
