Funny how nobody is talking about ...

The fake "leak" posts regarding W&W a week ago. VTNR right hand model? Not true. New Milgauss? All fabricated. You can trust nobody on the internet of course. I think all of the speculation ended up being near 0% true.

Kudos to Rolex for keeping everything under wraps. Apple level secrecy.

This guy unwrapped a lot, and got quite a bit of abuse from other members for his efforts, too, sadly.

Totally. This guy had it nailed. Fantastic discovery. Also the person who detected the 1908 trademark.

The guy who did all the photoshops of the widely distributed pictures admitted over the weekend (before the releases) that it all was a troll job.

Don't remember where he posted it, Reddit I think.

I suspect that if you discounted all the traffic on Rolex before Watch and Wonders and took out the fake stuff the internet would go dark.

Absolutely.

And all the "catalogue leaks" were totally wrong this year

Oh, and worth noting that Rolex Passion Report got basically EVERYTHING wrong this year.

Yeah, but keep saying it often enough and the stopped clock will be right.

My prediction for 2024 is a Coke. Same as this year, and last year, and the year before that, and the year before that....

What's pi**ing me off is that the guy had excellent explanations why what he was doing actually made sense. People who gave him abuse (and there were many of 'em) were just too lazy to wrap their heads around the topic.

Sadly, having the resources to purchase what are, lets face it, expensive watches is often not matched in the levels of intelligence, humility or respect shown.

Totally agree - and don't forget how many people on the internet are complete fantasists and/or just full of BS.

Just because someone tells you they have a PM SkyDweller and that a Sub is so 'overrated' doesn't mean they really have one.

I genuinely believe that some of the strongest views expressed on here come from people who haven't held/worn/owned some of they watches the profess to have such deep familiarity with.

Well Rolex May still introduce more models later this year (as they did with the Deepsea Challenge) so who knows …..

Some might say the two things are correlated, just inversely…

They work for me too!

That was a great post.

I don’t really understand why there’s a thread dedicated to another guy that made a fake announcement. Who cares? Let’s move on people.

But we didn’t get that new Sub! Maybe later this year.

The reason nobody is talking about it is b/c we're all immune to the speculation and fabrication that always precedes the unveiling of new models each year.

Numb, actually. Not even worth talking about.

Huh? He got all of them minus the sub, which based on Justin's track record, is probably coming at some point this year. Not only that, but he also proved to be maybe the classiest guy on this site.

this is the first year i actually followed the speculations pre-release and thought there would be a semblance of credibility, granted that even the bigger youtube channels were commenting on the "catalogue pics" like the gold hulk and the ceramic meteorite

sadly all were nonsense and when next year comes around, im saving myself the time from reading all that and just wait for the official release
