Unexpected 16700 incoming

A couple days ago I put the feelers out there to you guys about whether you prefer a 16710 or the 16700...

I was really surprised about the outcome , the 16700 was the clear winner

A few years ago the 16710 would have been a clear winner on this forum.

Anywho, I've had the privilege of owning both the 16710 and 16700 but the responses (and your pictures) really really made me regret selling my 16700

So.... I pulled the trigger!

The lugs etc looked really good and for a 1990's watch I thought the condition was decent. I'm not great at gauging whether polishing job etc is good, what do you guys think?SmartSelect_20230508_145045_eBay.jpgSmartSelect_20230508_145054_eBay.jpgSmartSelect_20230508_145114_eBay.jpg

Congrats! Watch has been polished, but case still looks nice.

There have been plenty of 16700 vs. 16710 threads through the years, and I always vote 16700. It's the last of the true Rolex GMTs, cleaner dial, slightly thinner, and has the classic quick set. What's not to like?

Welcome to the unofficial 16700 club.

Great timepiece, I have the LN bezel on my A serial. Love the look of both bezels

Had my 16700 for about a 2 months now, sent the Jubilee bracelet off to Rolliworks right away to restore (super fast turnaround), now all is complete, hasn't come off my wrist.

It is easily the most comfortable watch I've ever worn....

I've had 16710 non hole version and am always considering to add a T25 16700
