Soon to purchase a gmt ll

Hey,

Loving this forum- just discovered it a few days ago, and already have received good info regarding the GMT ll, a watch I love. I work as a captain at a major airline; I think the watch compliments a well-groomed public appearance, and enhances my ability to function as the individual directly responsible for and the final authority as to the operation of the aircraft I fly.

To my eye, the GMT ll in stainless is a striking balance of form and function. My lifestyle demands the durability of the SS model for the majority of my activities. Bought a brand new SS GMT ll in early '06; it was stolen in '07 off my wrist as I dozed. Be careful of the casual company you keep..ahem.

Don't want to leave my wrist bereft of a GMT ll.

Welcome to TRF.

Here is a close up of the timepiece.

Be careful where you snooze.

No, but I think Walter did!!

I'll have to view the film again but I don't recall ANY watches at all.

Sheldon- The Dude abides, the Dude abides. Gotta love the Coen bros. Allen- thanks; this is a rather pleasant forum. My NIB GMT ll is in transit. Thought I was a black GMT guy, but for whatever reason the black and red floated my dinghy.
