what do I have to look for? It has a gray horus strap dealer said he would add a black horus strap for free ,he also said it was serviced recently.

Does it have the original leather horn strap included?
I would be inclined to look for a full set, unless you will keep forever. Personally, I love mine and it has survived a number of other ROO sales. |

I would buy without papers, it’s not a problem from a reputable dealer, you can always get an extract from the archives to add at a later date
