Hello,sys12345,
It's a very nice watch. I am serious thinking to have one. But I have a question. When I saw all pictures of this watch, the center second hand always stayed on the 12 clock. So I am wondering the center second hand is just use for chronography? Is it moving when regular using or just the subdial at 9 clock moving? Thanks. _____ James |

Thanks for the comments guys!
James: The main/center sec hand is only used for chronograph timing, i.e. it only runs when the chronograph function is engaged. It is not used in the normal time keeping mode. That function is done by the sub-dial at 9 o'clock position. If a pilot chrono style is your cup of tea, u really cant go wrong with this one. Its a quality piece with awesome lume at a very reasonable price.

hello,sys12345,
I registered this ID just for communicating with you. I really like this one. But I think maybe this is the only reason I will get rid of it. I feel a little bit strange that the center sec hand always stands there. I perfer the center hand keep moving and the sub-dial for chronograph. Do all the ETA 7750 movements work like this? How about the IWC classic pilot chronograph? What's the difference between the IWC and steinhart? Sorry for so many question. I am learning. Thanks. James Quote:

James, i know how its like to find it strange that the main sec hand stays still during the normal time keeping mode. U are probably used to the usual 3-hand time pieces. Its a matter of getting used to, thats all. BTW, in case u've not seen this, u can read more about the Nav B Chrono II here: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=75104 or check out the following threads:
http://watchtalkworld.proboards.com/...ay&thread=6790 http://watchtalkworld.proboards.com/...ay&thread=5703 http://www.eta.ch/swisslab/7750/7750.html All 7750 movements will use the main sec hand for chrono time keeping. In fact, most other chronograph movements function likewise. As for the IWC Classic Pilot, if i'm not mistaken, they have done some upgrades on the base 7750 movement. Anyone with knowledge of the exact upgrades may like to jump in here. Quote:
