Nice, I've got the same combo with the deployant strap. I still prefer the green dial on the bracelet though.

I'm looking to add the OEM rubber w/ deployant for my SMP Blue...I'm just slow in doing so due to the $500+ cost in total from the dealer. |

I have the green rubber with the deployant for my green dial and the blue rubber with the tang buckle for my grey dial. The deployant is certainly a lot easier to take on and off but when it’s on, it’s no more comfortable than the tang buckle. My green dial came with the deployant otherwise I probably never would have spent the money and just got the tang buckle.

Good call getting the strap as well for this one, Michelle. Also looks great and must be very comfortable. At least this way if you ever wish you can switch back to the bracelet, but sounds like this will be the best way for you to enjoy the watch right now.
Just curious, what aspects regarding the bracelet made you feel this way? I've only seen the current bracelet once at an AD and it was a very long time ago. |

I did buy from the dealer. I didn't see any need to spend the extra funds for the deployant clasp. Tang buckle works well for me.

The SMP rubber strap is so comfortable and looks great. I ditched the bracelet on mine long ago. Very nice!

This makes sense, in fact many have expressed similar thoughts regarding that bracelet. I also like it but have been on the fence over the years vs. a refined 3-link bracelet. I'll never sell my Seamaster, but do certainly see where you and many others are coming from here. Even the 2mm taper from endlink to clasp on my Breitling watches makes a small difference.
