Surprise pick-up!

I was in Berlin a couple of weeks ago and happened to be in the neighborhood of the Swatch store so I popped in on the off-chance

Mercury, nicely done. Probably the best looking MoonSwatch out there.

after a couple of weeks wrist time my experience is mostly positive. I didn't like the strap much in the beginning but I suppose I'm sort of used to it now. If you have a thick wrist you are probably going to need to change it anyway. Being made of plastic it feels light and toylike but it I like how it looks on my wrist. One unexpected effect is that it draws more attention than any other watch I own and I have had 4-5 comments in 2 weeks versus 1 or2 in the last 20 years of wearing old Rolexs, comments have come from people obviously knowledgeable in the watch field so it attracts watch nerds, which is quite cool

Congrats. Ran into a Swatch pop up a few months ago trying to get one but alas I was too late. They seem to be fun little watches. Nice one

Thanks for the feedback & picture again. Was good to see side by side.

I think yesterday was my last trip to the swatch store. Lost count of number of times I’ve been in/ told no stock & tired of same answer. Also noticed they had 2 security guards on the door for no stock/ no customers apart from me

Noticed on eBay - lot of sellers with multiple watches / same & different models. Makes me wonder how many watches are actually making it to the shop counter & who’s paying these inflated prices as I’ve yet to see one in the wild
