Yep, two different watches at opposit price point.
I would go for a WG on blue dial. The meteorite is not for me (hour reading)

Personnaly, i'm looking for a 116718 green dial to make a pair with the 116619LB (all 2 first 6 digit ref, 31xx movement, first ceramic bezel, laqued dial )

I’d go steel simply because the Jubilee bracelet works so much better on this watch than the Oyster, no idea why, but it just does.

SS…….same watch, you are paying for the dial and the WG. SS is fraction of cost, better buy.

In case this wasn’t mentioned, that’s pretty awesome of your wife!

Unique and beautiful dials + PM = no brainer (ignoring $ of course)

That’s like saying buy a Toyota over an Aston Martin because aside from the engine and interior, they are the same….

I might tire of the meteorite, and the additional price of WG is hard to justify, given it looks so much like SS. I’d go SS Pepsi! Both are awesome watches, though.

Meteorite, knowing you can ALWAYS sell it later if you don't get on with it.

I personally think the Meteorite Pepsi is the coolest watch that Rolex currently produces, so I guess that's my answer.

I know that Rolex doesn't make a WG jubilee bracelet, but does anyone know if the SS bracelet would fit the WG GMT? And if it did fit, would it look crappy?

To me, a Meteorite Pepsi on a jubilee bracelet could very well be the ultimate Rolex.

More like saying MB S class vs Maybach with the same V8 engine.

If money no object has to be meteorite. I don’t think I’ve seen a watch yet with meteorite that I don’t like. Big fan of speedmaster grey side too.

Amen! The only SS watch I'd consider adding now is an Exp36. For me, once you go PM, it's really tough to go back to SS or event TT.

Great picture. I don’t think it’s a close call, meteorite all day long if you can swing it.
