Thank you all so much for the congratulations!! Means a lot. I can’t respond to all right now, but I will say that I really hope the rumors that the Pepsi is being discontinued are false. I hope the supply increases quickly so all can get them.

That is an awesome story.
I use to have a Rolex AD out of state that I had developed a great relationship with and they were able to get me several watches I really wanted but then Rolex took away their affiliation with this jeweler so I was stuck going grey for watches I wanted. My local AD never seemed to be open to starting a relationship. Well one day, I was in my hometown where we have a second home and I decided to go in the local AD without any preconceived notions. We were starting to see the Rolex boom just prior to COVID. I met with the AD's manager and we discussed watches. I told him what I was looking for and that I understood the environment we were in but told him I was not willing to buy other items so that I could be considered for a sports Rolex. Well, he said he would help me. About a week later, he called and said he had a CHNR he could sell me. I wasn't really looking for one but once I saw it I went ahead and bought it. Since then we became friends and he has gotten me quite of few of the most desirables I could want. I feel lucky and we keep in touch regularly. There are some good AD's out there. Ironically, since inflation hit, now my local AD is reaching out to me, LOL. |
