Yes ive always wanted a 5164 but it has always eluded me as no relationship with ADs anymore. The 5167 was picked up as an alternative as it was offered to me at retail price from another forum member who was very kind not to mark it up. Travel Time Aquanaut is highly preferred over the 5167 due to the fact its a complication I would use, I love the aesthetic design and like that it has a little more heft. Recently I have been really pining for a RG watch so the 5164R would kill two birds with one stone and im highly attracted to it. Pepsi GMT is the one Rolex ive never bonded with for some reason so would make sense to trade with the 5167 Aquanaut for a 5164R. Daytona I would miss but easy to pickup again in the future if need be so maybe keeping the 5711 is the way to go. |

I also have the 5711 and 5167 in my collection and I tend to wear the Aquanaut the most as it's so thin, leightweight and perfectly suited for daily wear. I also have a 5167R but it wears completely different due to the added weight and from a wearing comfort perspective I always prefer the A over the R. The 5164R is a beautiful reference but doesn't offer the same comfort which is characteristic to the Aquanaut. |
