I was called yesterday by the SA for black and silver. And today when I called her again to confirm the visit, she told me that candy pink just arrived a few hour before and I could choose between these 3, but it has to be today.
In person , the candy pink is not really a pink , it’s more of a dark reddish tone. I’m not too fond of this. I know candy pink may have higher resell value but I’m not interested in flipping watches. Too much work for too little money.

I’m now on the list for an explorer I 36mm. Given the history of purchase with this AD ( dj36, YM40, OP36), I’m hopeful it won’t be too long when explorer arrives
Candy pink….dark reddish tone? Sounds like you saw a totally different watch.

I GOT THE CALL!! Can't believe it, I literally inside the 7th AD about 100 miles from home and left my phone in the car with my family. I had a wonderful visit with the small town AD and got back to my car to a voice-mail from the 4th AD that I visited.... " we have your OP36 Silver." I was stunned and called back right away. I'm going in on Tuesday to check it out.

I got this call 38 days after a one-time visit and no previous purchase history. It was a very nice visit with a classy SA and no bogus stories. You bet I'm gonna be looking for some jewelry for my wife from this AD.

Should I start a new thread with this exciting news?

THAT was exactly my point. Some men might see the extreme taper on the 36 mm Explorer, as a bit feminine. It’s perfect, for me, but may not seem perfect for a large wristed man. He may prefer the 40 mm 214270 version.

Black dial is the easiest pick.
