This is true. Same diameter case but the Openwork is 9.7mm thick while the 26240 is 12.4mm thick.

Agree on these points, but no AP logo. Although with the smaller size the dial doesn't look empty.

Love it! I've been thinking about requesting that ceramic chrono. What gets more wrist time for you? The openworked or the CE chrono?

Thanks Perry! A ceramic watch wouldn't last a day with my son, nor do I have that kind of money to burn.

A blue ceramic would be a dream. A tourb openworked is beautiful, but a bit much for my budget. Trying to keep a car hobby and watch hobby going together without triggering my wife has it's limits. lol.
