OMG! Walked into a Rolex AD for the first time and got myself a 126613lb!

I was going in looking to start "building a relationship". 5 mins into having a conversation with the sales rep, the owner brought out four watches and put them on display for sale. Three ladies watches and this bad boy.

I just started hunting for my first Rolex, but according to the sales reps there, I was extremely lucky to be able to land this one. Although it was not my first choice and the retail price did go up by nearly 10%, I was quite happy with the purchase.

Was I that lucky or was this the model more readily available these days?

The Bluesy is definitely a popular piece so consider yourself lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
Congrats!

Congratulations!
I saw that model in a AD window in 2019.
Still regret not buying it. You were lucky.

Congratulations! Thats a great watch, one of the best there is.

However, dont believe the salesspeach. That watch goes currently under list. The fact that it was available means there is not much demand for it (in rolex standards). Of course they call the buyer lucky as they want to sell the watch and false scarcity is a top seller. But as I said that it is a great watch and if you bought it for your own use/enjoyment these sentiments wont matter.

Nice watch, reasonably easy to get hold of from most ADs. This is shown by it trading near or under retail in the grey market. Good purchase assuming it’s not an investment piece

Oh, that's fantastic! I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of mine as well—it's been a few months of anticipation. Which AD was this?

Excellent, very well done.

I thoroughly enjoy it when one simply stops in, asks, then buys the watch.
