Correct Bracelet for a 1960’s Rolex 1675 GMT Master?
Hello there, I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a vintage Rolex 1675 GMT Master but I want to make sure the watch comes with a period correct and original bracelet.
Did 1675s from the mid 1960’s come with a 6636 Rivet Bracelet? |

Yes very possibly (on GMT/Milgauss/Exp/BigCrown) the rare expanding Swiss Rivet 20mm raised crown:
https://gmtmaster1675.com/the-bracelet/ Dealers often had drawers full of them and purchasers could choose the style of rivet eg more common 7206 fixed or Stretch. (North America territory {and a few others}, to get round import duties, had the indigenous manufactured 'C and I' too). Or paupers took a 22522 Tropic rubber. Circa 68/69 saw the first 7836 folded links hit the shops. Here's an optimistic seller ! With one for a bargain price : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155059172...mis&media=COPY Hope that helps...make sure lots of links of course !
